Shivam Barwey received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, and his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. During his Ph.D., Shivam held the J. Robert Beyster Computational Innovation Graduate Fellowship (2020-2021) and the Rackham Pre-Doctoral Fellowship (2021-2022). After his Ph.D., he joined the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility as a postdoctoral researcher (2022-2023), and then was the Argonne Energy Technology & Security (AETS) Named Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory in the Transportation and Power Systems Division (2023-2025). Shivam received an Impact Argonne Award for Innovation in 2025.
